Wall Mounted Emergency Deluge Shower with ABS Plastic Shower Head

Application:  Emergency shower for horizontal mounting. Shower Head:  10" diameter. Shower head is orange ABS plastic. Valve:  1" IPS chrome plated brass stay-open ball valve. Valve is US-made with chrome plated brass ball and Teflon® seals. Furnished with stainless steel actuating arm and 29" stainless steel pull rod. Pipe and Fittings:  1" IPS galvanized steel nipple with orange ABS plastic elbow (08G1643) or galvanized street elbow (08G1643SSH). Supply:  1" NPT female inlet. Sign:  ANSI-compliant identification sign. Available Options: Contact us for order information for the following options only: PCC  All-polished chrome plated brass construction. De-fend Emergency Decontamination Shower

With the De-fend Emergency Decontamination Shower and Retention Pool, first responders, emergency response teams, secondary or clean-up teams and EMS teams can have emergency and decontamination shower facilities within minutes of arriving on site. The shower flushes contaminants from the workers' protective clothing while the retention pool collects the rinse water. The captured fluid, which may include hazardous materials, may then be disposed of properly. Fully deployed, the shower stands 8 feet tall. Seven spray nozzles positioned in the top and around the sides of the unit provide complete drenching of the emergency responder or victim. The shower can also provide safe, effective response for a variety of locations: Construction Sites, Loading Docks, Agricultural Locations, Other Emergency Response Locations. Some of the features include: Light-weight, compact shower and retention pool require no assembly. Pool and Shower can be stored in convenient carrying bags on virtually any response vehicle. Each requires less than 5 cu ft of storage space. Pool and Shower can be made fully operational in less than two minutes by one person. No tools are required for set-up. Shower is designed to be connected to a standard garden hose. Quick deployment; shower is fully erect and operational within ten seconds of turning on the water. The shower will accommodate emergency responder in full chemical gear with SCBA. Five gallon per minute flow rate at 40 PSI water supply pressure, assures users of thorough decontamination with copius amounts of water. The pool has over a 120 gallon capacity to provide collection for up to 30 minutes of shower use. The optional drench hose can be used to assist the emergency responder or victim with decontamination or drenching. Using the optional transfer pump, fluids collected in the retention pool can be transferred to drums or tanks for proper disposal according to local, state and federal regulations.
