W.S.I.B. - Workplace Safety & Insurance Board First Aid Kits

Regulations 1101, incorporated into the Act, outlines in detail the obligations of employers in the provision of first aid equipment, facilities, and trained personnel in all workplaces.  The large black and yellow poster entitled "In Case of Injury at Work" Poster (Form 82), must be posted in every workplace where all workers can see it. Section 11 (1) states "Every employer employing 200 or more workers in any one shift at a place of employment shall provide and maintain a First Aid Room".

Swimming Pool Regulation First Aid Kits

Every owner and operator of a public pool shall ensure that there are provided in places conveniently located for emergency use:  a) an electrically insulated or non- conducting reaching pole, b) a spine board designed for transporting a person who has incurred a spinal injury; and c) a Regulation First Aid Kit.

School Bus Regulation First Aid Kit

Every school bus and vehicles for disabled passengers, as defined in subsection 175 (1) of the Highway Traffic Act shall be equipped with a first aid kit.
